Mindfulness
We—as humans—are always trying to get somewhere or achieve something, which puts a significant stress on our bodies and minds. Mindfulness is a tool to help us let go of that striving, to be present for the wonders of each moment that we live.
I can confidently say (with my personal experience) that mindfulness meditation helps with reducing cognitive stress and cultivates qualities of compassion, acceptance, non-striving, gratitude, generosity, and much more. It is a gentle practice that can be done anywhere at any time.
